Three Arrested Last Weekend Following Carroll County Drug Bust

Md. State Police say it follows an investigation of a cocaine trafficking organization.

 

Westminster, Md (KM) Three people were arrested last weekend following an investigation into two cocaine trafficking operations in Carroll County.

Maurice Rashaad Garrison, 26, of Baltimore was taken into custody in Westminster on Sunday, charged with  on two counts of conspiracy to distribute cocaine. Maryland State Police say Garrison was apprehended on a warrant from an indictment charging him with distribution of cocaine. Authorities say $1,273.00 in cash was seized.. .

Amanda Marie Knight, 27, of Westminster was also apprehended, charged with distribution of cocaine and conspiracy to distribute cocaine. She was also arrested on a warrant stemming from an indictment charging Knight with distribution ob cocaine and one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

Troopers say the investigation resulted in the discovery of additional narcotics. As a result, Mark James Geise, 35, of Westminster was arrested after a search warrant was executed at the Bishop’s Garth Apartment Complex in Westminster. Geise is charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

The operation was conducted by the Maryland State Police, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, Westminster Police, the Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations.
