A waver hearing was held Friday for the 15 year old defendant
Frederick, MD – (RD) – During a waiver hearing Friday, a 15-year-old who was formally charged in the September 20, 2019 attack and death of John Marvin Weed at the Great Frederick Fair appeared in court. The defendant is charged with manslaughter, 1st degree assault, and 2nd degree assault.
The State filed a waiver petition to have both juveniles involved in the attack tried in adult court.
Judge William R. Nicklas Jr. will issue his order in the matter by the end of next week.
