Every car that stops by will receive two gallons of milk free
New Windsor, Md. (DG) – The New Windsor Volunteer Fire Company is helping local dairy farmers and givng back to the community this weekend. They will be giving away milk for free.
The fire company is teaming up with Hoober Inc, Cow Comfort Inn, the Maryland/Virginia Milk Producers, and Land O Lakes for the event. Dairy farmers have been severly affected by the pandemic, and there is a milk surplus. Every car that stops by the milk giveaway this Saturday will receive two gallons of milk free.
The milk giveaway will take place at the New Windsor Volunteer Fire Company on High Street in New Windsor beginning at 10 AM. There will be 2200 gallons of milk given away.
