The National Museum of Civil War Medicine has the following upcoming events:
v To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Antietam, the Pry House Field Hospital Museum is hosting a special exhibit of Civil War artifacts recovered from the Antietam Battlefield. The exhibit features a diverse collection of items found buried at the William Roulette Farm. The exhibit will be displayed from now till September 29th.

Monocacy National Battlefield will hold programs describing the events that led to the Battle of Antitam. Rangers will provide a program on the Frederick Occupation at 10am on both days. General Hill will provide programs at noon and 2:30pm on Saturday, and 11am and 2:30pm on Sunday. A special power point program on Special Orders No. 191 will be at 1pm at the historic Thomas House, which will be limited seating. The Pry House Field Hospital Museum will hold several living history events over the 150th anniversary weekend of the Battle of Antietam. Visitors will see General McClellan and the Army of the Potomac camped at the house that was their headquarters during the battle, the threshing barn will be turned into a Civil War hospital as it was 150 years ago, a soldier’s fair will be held, tintype photos will be taken, music and dancing, and much more.
