The National Museum of Civil War Medicine has the following upcoming events:
v “Bringing the Story of War to Our Doorsteps: Rediscovering Alexander Gardner’s Antietam Photographs” will be displayed at the Pry House Field Hospital Museum from October 5th thru December 1st. For the first time since the Civil War, Mathew Brady’s famous 1862 photographic exhibition “The Dead of Antietam” will be reproduced.

The American Red Cross Greater Chesapeake & Potomac Blood Services Region is seeking Youth to be greeter and refreshment volunteers at blood drives in the Central Maryland area. A commitment of 1-2 blood drives a month is requested. This position is offered to youth who have transportation, enjoy working with people and have excellent customer service skills.
