Troy --
In the five minutes it takes you to read this email, 4,669 more voters will cast early ballots in this election.
By the time you’re done checking your inbox, 56,030 more voters will vote early. And by tomorrow morning, this year's total early vote could hit 8 or 9 million ballots – most of them concentrated in crucial swing states where Democratic field efforts are working overtime.
Numbers like these tell us more than just the pace of early voting: they explain why GOP superPACs are pouring tens of millions of dollars into last-minute attack ads trying to sway millions of crucial swing voters in key battleground states.
This Saturday’s deadline is the most crucial we’ve ever faced, because 10 days out is the absolute latest we can launch any new campaign efforts.
Last-minute campaign efforts always need a few days for production, so if we can’t hit this $174,000 goal by Saturday, we may be too late to reach millions of crucial early and swing voters before Election Day.
Democratic volunteers are working harder than ever to win the early voting period in key swing states, but Republicans are spending untold millions to try and stop us.
We’re counting on supporters like you across the country to help us win that battle.
Sincerely,
Jessica Post - National Field Director
The Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee
