Obama about to unleash two new attacks on life and family at the UN..

Dear Friend of the Friday Fax,

The reelection of Barack Obama was a disaster not just for our country but for the entire world and most especially for unborn babies.

Besides campaigning to enforce abortion on the United States, Obama promises to try and force abortion on the world. In fact, the head of the UN Population Fund --- the UN agency that helped set up the murderous Chinese one-child policy and that is the most aggressive enforcer of a global right to kill unborn babies --- HAS PRAISED Obama's reelection!

Obama may be hindered by pro-lifers in his murderous march in the US, he is not so hindered internationally and at the UN. In fact, he is more pro-abortion internationally than he is domestically.

The coming months are years that will be perilous indeed for unborn children around the world.

But not only that, Obama has made it clear he has no respect for man-woman marriage. He is actively seeking to make sexual orientation and gender identity enforceable concepts in international law! This would mean homosexual marriage enforced by the UN on this country and every country in the world.

Quite frankly, I shudder at what the coming months and years will mean if we do not work at the UN to stop him every single day.

C-FAM and the Friday Fax have seen all this before. We lived through the Clinton years. We know how aggressive and mean they can get. We know what it is like to be thrown out of meetings for simply watching. We know what it is like to be blocked from attending meetings and made to sit in the hallway outside. We know what it is like when rabid anti-life and anti-family people represent the most powerful country in the world.

C-FAM and Friday Fax personnel have participated in every major and most minor UN negotiations for more than 15 years. We are willing once more to step into the breach, to be your eyes and ears and arms and legs. I know you would want to be here if you could. But we are here. Six full time people who dedicate their every day and often nights to defending life, faith and family from those who would harm them.

We are happy to do this without much money, without praise, and with the condemnation of the powers-that-be. But what we cannot do without is your prayers, your constant daily prayers.

What we cannot do this without is your financial commitment to this work.

We get by on a shoestring. We get by on the widow's mite, particularly compared to the billions of dollars UN radicals spends to promote abortion and to undermine marriage and family.

I am writing to ask for your help in keeping the Friday Fax turning out quality pro-life and pro-family journalism week in and week out, for 15 years now!

The Friday Fax is really expensive to produce.

We must pay (small) salaries for our writers and reporters, office space in Manhattan just a few blocks from the UN, printing and publishing of the print edition, and we have to spend more than $25,000 a year just to send out our annual 20 million emails! All told it cost more than $200,000 a year to produce and publish the Friday Fax.

Nobody does what we do. No other group reports on UN activities from the source every single week. No other group has out contacts or our insight into UN issues gleaned from 15 years of doing this work.

So far we have been able to stop an international right to abortion. We have managed to stop a redefinition of marriage. But we have done so with few resources and few friends.

We need you now. We have to raise $100,000 before the end of this year.
