My new column which will appear several times per month is entitled “The New Right.”  With the conservative and Republican brands badly damaged from both incoming fire and self-inflicted wounds it is clear new strategies, new ideas, and new people are needed to create a genuine, mainstream movement that will move the country in a rightward direction.  I will be writing about what it will take to reform the right so that fiscally conservative policies will have a real voice in the American political discourse from the local level on up.
 
Some of you may agree with my views.  A good number of you may not.  In any case, I hope that as these columns are published you will click on the link to give them a read – and if the spirit moves you – ‘like’ it, ‘tweet’ it or forward it to your contacts.  I will be available for interviews in conjunction with each piece and the national political scene generally.
