Dear Praying Friends,
As you may know, on January 22 America marked the 40 year anniversary of the
landmark ruling Roe vs. Wade. This ruling legalized abortion in our nation, and since that time, we have taken the lives from over 55 million (55,000,000)
innocent babies. 55 million! Think of the innocent blood that has been shed here in America.
In the Holy Bible, Leviticus Chapter 18 states this about the shedding of innocent blood: "vs. 21: And you shall not let any of your descendants pass through the fire to Molech, nor profane the name of your God. (This was the practice of slaughtering innocent babies in a burning statue, while drums were being beaten to drown out their cries. This took place in the Bin Hinnom Valley) vs. 24: Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. vs. 25: For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants. vs. 26: You shall therefore keep my statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you. vs. 28: lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out
the nations that were before you."
So you see, according to the scriptures, we are not only sinning against the Lord, our children and our own bodies, but we are defiling our land by shedding innocent blood. We are in no way condemning those who have had abortions, but rather, seeking wisdom and counsel from a Holy God to help us stop this practice here and now. We have personally ministered to hundreds who have had abortions, and now regret it. But God! The shed blood of Jesus Christ forgives us from all of our sin, cleansing us and making us whole once again.
During this time we would ask you to pray for our nation concerning this horrible practice. Many national prayer ministries are praying and fast during
this time, and so are we.
*Please pray that those in leadership in the church and our nation who advocate the practice of abortion have the veil removed from their heart so they can see the horror of what they are doing.
*Pray that those who push for this type of legislation be replaced by people who protect the innocent life of unborn human beings.
*Pray for our politicians who vote for legalization of abortion, that they, too, realize the horror of this practice.
*Pray for those on the battle front trying to educate those wanting to have an
abortion, that they will have the resources they need to help those they are
ministering to.
*Pray for families willing to adopt the babies saved from abortion so they can
be loved and cared for throughout their lives.
We love you all. Let's stand once again in our prayers and supplications, and
don't forget to volunteer locally for ministries that help the unborn.
Love and Blessings,
Aligned for His Glory
