Help the Friday Fax stop UN treaties in the US Senate...

February 7, 2013 10:00 a.m.

Dear Friend of the Friday Fax,

Last month C-FAM and the Friday Fax played a key role in defeating a potentially dangerous UN treaty that came very close to Senate ratification.

C-FAM and Friday Fax personnel briefed staff members of the Senate and testified at key meetings of Senate staff. C-FAM and the Friday Fax are recognized all over Capital Hill as the expert on UN treaties and their impact on unborn children and the family.

Our work is far from over. They are coming for ratification again.

A few days ago Senator John Kerry left the Senate to replace Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. Kerry, a dissident Catholic, was the leader of anti-life measures in the Senate. He was the floor leader in trying to get anti-life UN treaties through the US Senate, which would make them the law of the land in America.

Kerry has vowed to try and try again to get these UN treaties ratified by the US Senate.

I fully expect these efforts to commence in the coming days and weeks. I expect the attack to begin soon.

WE MUST STOP THEM!  But we cannot stop them without your help.

C-FAM and the Friday Fax simply cannot function without your financial support. Ninety-five percent of our operating budget comes from appeals like this. Ninety-five percent of our budget comes from regular folks giving us donations of $50-$100! We are up against organizations that laugh at such small donations.

We are up against organizations that raise and spend billions to ensure the death of unborn children and the destruction of the national family.

Please click on this button and give as much as you possibly can.

Here is my plan.

C-FAM and Friday Fax personnel are already meeting with Senate and House of Representative staff members. In fact, I am doing this myself. C-FAMs Lisa Correnti is leading our efforts in Congress and she is taking me on many meetings where we are taking our message of life and family and opposition to meddling treaties that endanger unborn children, the family and national sovereignty.

But the danger is real. It is now. They are coming now and we have to stop them NOW.

Please know that C-FAMs Washington DC office and the Friday Fax are very expensive.

The Friday Fax costs $200,000 each and every year to produce. This includes small salaries for five Friday Fax reporters, who also happen to be among the most knowledgeable individuals in the world when it comes to the UN social policy debates. This includes expensive space in New York City and Washington DC. This includes printing and postage. It includes the huge expense of emailing (when you mail 20 million emails a year, it is not free!).

So, in order to help us block potentially dangerous UN treaties, in order to help us continue to educate the US Congress, in order to help us to continue monitoring the UN debate and talking to dozens of UN diplomats, please PRAY FOR US, and DONATE AS MUCH AS YOU CAN IN SUPPORT OF OUR WORK.

We have stopped them so far. We will stop them again, but we cannot do it without you. Can you afford $500? $100? $50? Truly any amount will be a blessing. We must raise $100,000 in the coming weeks in order to continue our fight for life, faith and family at the UN and at the US Congress.

Many thanks for your prayers and support.

Yours sincerely,

Austin Ruse
President
