Police in Hagerstown are investigating multiple thefts of storm drain grates and manhole covers.

Authorities say a dark blue four door car, possibly a Buick, with a vinyl top, was seen driving away from the scene and the vehicle's trunk was open with pipe extending from the rear. These crimes have been going on for the last several weeks in the city, authorities said.
