The driver lost control and his vehicle overturned.

At around midnight Saturday, Frederick Police Officers responded to a vehicle collision in the 100 block of West Patrick Street, where one of the cars, a 2002 Chevy Corvette convertible, overturned after the driver lost control and struck a parked Dodge pickup truck.  It took rescue workers over an hour to stabilize the Corvette and get the driver out before the vehicles could be removed from the scene.  The driver of the convertible was transported by ambulance to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown where he was treated for minor injuries.

Investigators are looking into the incident to determine if alcohol was a factor in the collision.
