Tonight’s  Walkersville panel discussion of charter government has been canceled as the area continues to recover from Monday’s storm.

The event wasn’t rescheduled because participants were unavailable Nov. 1, the alternate date, according to a press release.

Town resident George Rudy organized the discussion between supporters and opponents of moving to a charter government in Frederick County, a question voters will decide on Election Day. The forum had been slated to start at 7 p.m. at the Walkersville Town Hall.
