He allegedly tried to rape a female family member.
A male juvenile has been charged with attempted 2nd-degree rape, 3rd-degree sex offense and 2nd-degree assault.
Frederick Police say they received a complaint on Thursday that the youth attempted to rape another family member at a home in the 1400 block of Key Parkway. A detective began an investigation, and determined that the male juvenile did try to sexually assault the female with the intention of having sexual intercourse.
The youth was arrested on Friday, less than 24-hours after authorities received the complaint.
