Authorities confirm it was a fatal crash.

Police, fire and rescue personnel were dispatched to a vehicle crash early Thursday morning.  The location is Gambrill Park Road about a mile from the High Knob Scenic area.  The Frederick County Sheriff's Office confirms that one person was killed.  Motorists are urged to avoid the area for a while.  The State Police Medivac Helicopter was dispatched to the scene to fly out a patient.
