None of the occupants of the vehicle were injured, but there was substantial damage to the business.
Frederick City Police say no one was inured in an accident on Monday morning when a car went into a building.
Around 11:30 a.m. police responded to 4 S. McCain Drive for an accident. Once on scene, officers found a small 2007 Kia SUV had crashed through the front of the office belonging to Dr. Valerie Kee. The vehicle was deep into the office, which was closed for Christmas Eve.
None of the occupants of the Kia were injured, but there was substantial damage to the business.
Police say the driver of the kia stepped on the gas believing her car was in reverse. When in actuality, the car was in drive and propelled into the business.
The city's building inspector determined there was no structural damage.
