An Adamstown, Maryland woman died Thursday following a two-vehicle crash in Loudon County, Virginia on Christmas Day.

The Sheriff's Office says Annalee S. Marshall, 20, was driving her Honda Civic northbound on Route 15 near Black Walnut Lane when it crossed the center lane and struck an Acura four-door operated Todd Willman, 55, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Deputies who responded at around 12:43 PM, say Marshall ran off the east shoulder, but overcorrected to get back on the road and entered the southbound lane of Route 15.

Marshall was flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital where she died on Thursday morning.

Two passengers in the Accura were treated for minor injuries. A third passenger, identified as Scott Tarner, 23, was flown to Inova Fairfax where he's listed in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation by the Loudon County Sheriff's Office Crash Reconstruction Unit.
