The event is free and guests are invited to take turns reading the speeches with rangers aloud on January 19th at 2pm.

The Monocacy National Battlefield is hosting a commemoration in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. and the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation.

The event is free and guests are invited to take turns reading the speeches with rangers aloud on January 19th at 2pm.

Those attending will also be invited to join in a post reading discussion on their importance, what they mean today, and what they mean to you.
