Congratulations go out to Lieutenant Ron Hibbard with the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, who graduated from the FBI Academy on December 14th, 2012.
Along with 260 other law enforcement officers in the 251st Session of the National Academy, Lieutenant Hibbard underwent the 11-week program at the Bureau's Academy in Quantico, Virginia. It included advanced investigative, management and fitness training. The training was conducted by FBI Academy instructors, Special Agents, and other staff members who hold advanced degrees and are recognized internationally in their fields of expertise.
The 251st Session included law enforcement officers from 49 states. Police agencies from the District of Columbia, four military organizations, six federal civilian organizations and 29 countries were also represented.
The featured speaker at graduation was FBI Director Robert Mueller.
Lieutenant Hibbard began his career with the Sheriff's Office in 1996. He was promoted to Corporal in 2003, and made Sergeant in 2005. In February, 2007, Hibbard was promoted to Lieutenant. He currently serves in Patrol Operations.
Lieutenant Hibbard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University.
