A bluegrass concert being held to raise money for Brunswick High School student booster groups is hosting an award winning vocal group in their auditorium on January 27th. Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver will be performing. Lawson, said they are most popular for their four-part harmony.

"I really love putting my voice with three others and doing stuff and I will always be digging to do arrangements and do a song that maybe people have heard but put a little different twist to it. Keep the song but maybe give it our interpretation," said Lawson.

He says the group loves being on tour and cant wait to perform for the people in Brunswick.

"I'm excited about it, I love being on stage and I love trying to make people happy and to enjoy the music. We like to play songs that will lift their spirits and that are reflective," said Lawson.

The bluegrass concert is sponsored by Brunswick Roundhouse Concert Productions and will be hosting two more concerts in April and June. Tickets to see the band are $20 and doors open at 2 p.m. The concert starts at 3 p.m.

The concerts are:

- April 28th featuring Dailey and Vincent

- June 23rd featuring Darren Beachley Band and Jim and Valerie Gabeheart
