Winter weather advisory in effect from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. this evening.

The weather is making news once again.  A winter weather advisory will go into effect at 2:00 p.m. in Frederick County, until 9:00 p.m.

The National Weather Service says we can expect between one to three inches of snow which could make the evening commute a little rough.  Snow may be moderate to locally heavy at times during the late afternoon and early evening.

Roads will become snow covered and slippery, resulting in hazardous travel during the afternoon and evening commute.
