The victim was walking when he was approached from behind by two men.
Frederick Police arrested two men Tuesday afternoon for armed robbery by the Elmwood Terrace Apartments.
Around 3:30 p.m., the victim was walking when he was approached from behind by two men. Joseph Abercrombie pulled out a gun and pointed it at the victim while Brennan Waddy knocked him to the ground and went through his pockets. A third suspect, who is a juvenile, was with the victim at the time and had set up the robbery.
Abercrombie and Waddy were taken into custody and charged as adults due to the seriousness of the crime. They are both charged with armed robbery, robbery, assault, theft, handgun use, reckless endangerment and conspiracy to commit the crimes listed. The third suspect was charged as a juvenile through the juvenile court system.
The victim was not hurt during this incident.
