One person was taken to FMH.
An investigation is underway into an assault early Friday morning, January 25th at the Blue Sky Bar and Grill on Old National Pike in New Market.
According to the Frederick County Bureau of Investigation, Sheriff's Deputies responded at around 1:45 AM to that establishment for a fight, and found that some of the individuals had already left the scene. A preliminary investigation has revealed that there was a dispute that led to an altercation between one man and several other people, as they were trying to leave the bar. The man followed and assaulted them. He left the area prior to the arrival of deputies.
One person, a 49-year-old Stevensville resident, was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released.
