The Middletown girls basketball team defeated Pooleville this evening. The teams played to a 48-48 tie at the end of regulation in the District 2-A West Championship.
Middletown won in overtime 57-56 to earn a chance to play in the State Girls Basketball Tournament Friday at 3:00PM at UMBC. Their opponent is yet to be determined.
