The two adults were taken into custody after falling through a ceiling.
You could say two suspects in a burglary literally fell right into the hands of law enforcement officers.
The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to the 5600 block of Singletree Drive on Friday morning for a burglary in progress.
Upon arrival, they noticed a teenager running for the scene, and saw signs of a forced entry. The youth was detained, but the two other suspects remained holed up inside the house.
A perimeter was set up, and while deputies were checking the residence, they heard movements in the attic. Authorities tried to make contact with the two, but they did not respond.
After an hour, deputies noticed the ceiling in the living room was beginning to bow. The drywall ceiling gave way, and the two suspects fell through. They were taken into custody.
Datwon Diggs, 18, and George Snowden, 19, and the 16-year-old male are charged with 1st-degree burglary, 3rd-degree burglary, 4th-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, and theft.
All three suspects are from Frederick.
