Frederick Community Collge and Hood College say they will be closing on Wednesday due to the snow.
In a statement on its website, FCC says: "We are making this decision to give students, employees and their families time to plan accordingly."
On the Hood College website, President Ron Volpe says: "We believe that the weather forecasts for a significant snowfall tonight {Tues} through tomorrow (Wed) are reliable, and local and state officials are advising the public to stay off the roads tomorrow {Wed}. Food, housekeeping and security services willbe available for student and staff on campus."
Frederick County Public Schools has not made a decision as of Tuesday evening. On its website, school system officials say a decision will be made on Wednesday, March 6 at 5:00 PM.
