A man who Frederick Police arrested back in February and charged with trespassing and other offenses after authorities said he refused to leave Yellow Cab when he was asked to get out, spoke before the Board of County Commissioners Thursday morning. " Good morning, my name is Donald Lee and I am running for Mayor of Frederick City," said Lee.

With no response from the board, Mr. Lee went on to say that he had been treated unfairly. "Well, I am kind of a strange character in a way. A lot of people find reasons to want to fight me," he continued.

Lee has made statements to others that he was beat up by several Frederick Police officers when he was arrested on February 26th.

"I can't imagine why the government wouldn't want to support me. It's up to you guys to see that I am treated fairly, as a citizen, in some fashion, that would promote a political career, only because of the treatment that I received," said Lee.

The News Post reported that Mr. Lee frequently went to Yellow Cab and got into altercations and he was not welcomed on the property.

The Board of County Commissioners did not respond to his comments.
