Frederick Police Investigating Two Armed Robberies Thurs. Afternoon

Both victims wree robbed of money & valuables.

 

Two armed robberies in Frederick on Thursday afternoon are under investigation.

In the first incident, a man says he was robbed at knifepoint by two other men. They took his cash and fled heading westbound. The incident occurred at 40 South Carroll Street.

The victim reported to the holdup to police at around 5:00 PM, an hour after it occurred. He says the suspects  were skinny Hispanic males. Both were wearing face masks.

Frederick Police responded to the second robbery in 1600 block of Opposumtown Pike shortly after 5:30 PM. Officers and detectives learned from the victim that he was approached by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, the other had a knife.  They took his personal belongings and fled in the direction of Thomas Johnson High School

They're described as Hispanic males, 5'6", wearing dark clothing with bandannas over their faces. The individual with the gun was described as having curly hair.
