A tough loss

In a hard fought game, the Middletown Knight girls failed to win the Maryland State Basketball Class 2-A Championship Saturday, losing to Calvert High School 45-39. Calvert won their third State Championship in a game played at The University of Maryland Baltimore County Field House. Middletown earned the spot in the title game after entering the tournament as the 8th seed. Middletown ended the season with 19 wins and 8 losses.
