The suspect is charged with possession of 'spice.'

 

 A Frederick man was charged Friday night with possession of the Synthetic Cannabinoid known "Spice," and posession of alcohol in a city park.

Police say Wayne Allen Chadderton, 48, was observed by an officer on foot patrol in the Carroll Creek Linear Park with a green, leafy substance that was later identified as the Synthetic Cannaboid known as "Spice." Authorities also say Chatterton had an open bottle of alcohol.

He was issued two criminal citations and released from the scene.
