Grand Opening Ceremony Slated For New MVA

Gaithersburg, MD Mayor Sidney Katz will join the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) in a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the new Walnut Hill Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) office on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Located in the Walnut Hill Shopping Center at 16520 Westland Drive, Gaithersburg, Maryland, the new office replaces the old "Walnut Hill MVA Express" office in Montgomery County.

In addition to Mayor Katz, Maryland Motor Vehicle Administrator and Governor O’Malley’s Highway Safety Representative, John T. Kuo will also take part in the festivities.

Also invited: Maryland District 39 State Legislative Delegation.

Directions:

Take I-495 W/Beltway to I-270 N. Merge onto I-270 N and follow signs for Frederick. Take exit 9 for

I-370 toward Metro Station/Sam Eig Hwy. Merge onto I-270 N. Take exit 9A to merge onto I-370 E toward Metro Station. Take exit 2 for Maryland 355 N/Frederick Avenue toward Gaithersburg Town Center. Merge onto S Frederick Ave. Turn right onto Westland Drive. Shopping Center entrance is on the left.
