It occurred at Rt. 85 & Crestwood Blvd.
An adult and a child were flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore Tuesday morning following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 85 and Crestwood Boulevard.
State Police in Frederick say troopers were dispatched to the scene at around 7:44 AM, and were told that a Chevy Pickup was making a left hand turn from Route 85 into the Westview Promenade when it was struck by a Pontiac.
The occupants of the pickup were the driver, Fleet Martin White, 49, and Michael Lee Smith, 23. Both are from Charles Town, West Virginia. Neither was hurt, according to authorities.
Joshua Lanier, 23, of Walkersville was the driver of a Pontiac. He and a minor who was a front seat passenger, were flown out. State Police say their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Troopers say both vehicles sustained heavy damage.
The intersection was closed until 11:30 AM.
Charges are pending, according to State Police.
