A substantial reward is being offered.
Hagerstown Police are investigating four robberies that may be related. Authorities said all of them happened on may 1st and 2nd. The suspect in the robberies is described as an African American man, no older than 30. He is approximately six feet tall with a thin build.
In each of the robberies the suspect wore blue jeans and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt. The suspect also brandished a handgun.
The first robbery occurred at the Sheetz on Potomac Avenue in the 700 block. Then in the 1000 block of Potomac Avenue, the suspect assaulted his victim and robbed him of valuables. The Family Dollar was hit in the nine hundred block of Pennsylvania Avenue, and the latest robbery took place at Universal Liquors. Police are asking for the community's help. A substantial reward is being offered.
