It occurred early Sunday morning.
A Gaithersburg man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Frederick County early Sunday morning.
The Sheriff's Office says Daniel Ledaye Swader, 20, was driving his Honda Accord southbound along Gambrill Park Road shortly before 1:30 AM when the passenger side tires went off the road and on to a grass shoulder. The car was driven back on to the roadway and spun clockwise before crossing into the northbound lanes, leaving the road and striking a tree.
Swader was pronounced dead at the scene.
A front seat passenger in the Honda Accord, Trevor Edgar Robinson, 20, of North Potomac, was not injured and refused medical treatment.
Swader's body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy.
The investigation is continuing, and is being handled by Dfc. Nathan Rector of the Frederick County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit. Anyone with additional information on this crash is asked to call Dfc. Rector directly at 301-600-6490.
