She was arrested Sun. following a traffic stop.
Criminal and traffic citations were issued over the weekend to a Frederick woman following a traffic stop.
On Sunday afternoon, police say an officer on patrol near Willowdale Drive and Schaefer Drive noticed a car with a Maryland license plate on the rear, but not the front. He pulled over the vehicle.
While walking up to the driver's side, he detected an odor of marijuana. The officer then asked where was the pot. The driver handed him a small handbag that contained a glass smoking bowl, rolling papers and a grinder with suspected marijuana. The motorist, identified as Taylor Cheyenne Cable of Frederick, was placed under arrest.
After checking with a police dispatcher, the officer also found Cable's driver's license was suspended.
She was issued criminal and traffic citations. The charges against her are possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while suspended.
Cable was released from the scene.
