Jeremy Arthur Gebhart, 28, of the 7200 block of Caracara Court, is charged with resisting arrest and multiple assault charges.
He was in district court Wednesday for a civil hearing and became irate after Judge Mary C. Reese issued a decision in his case.
During a court recess, Gebhart re-entered the courtroom and allegedly told a bailiff, “You can tell the judge she has no right to breathe,” according to charging documents.
Gebhart left the courtroom after that statement but returned 10 minutes later during court proceedings in other matters, according to charging documents.
Several bailiffs asked Gebhart to leave the courtroom and followed him out.
Once outside, Gebhart allegedly grabbed one of the bailiffs by the neck and pushed him, and kicked another bailiff in the groin area, according to charging documents.
The bailiffs eventually used pepper spray to control Gebhart and placed him under arrest.
He is being held at the Carroll County Detention Center without bail.
No court date has been scheduled in the case as of 5 p.m. Thursday, according to electronic court files.
