Terry Horman has a message for her son's killers on You-Tube.
A local woman, whose son was killed in the Summer of 2003, says she is very frustrated. "July 2nd, was the anniversary of Joshua Crawford's death, and it marks a decade for an unsolved case. It was also his birthday. So he would have just turned 31. I was upset thinking no one cared about my son's case. I had written to Frederick County States Attorney, Charles Smith, and he said it was nothing he could do about my son's case, at this time. I then wrote to Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins, a couple of times, and still haven't heard anything from him, as of yet," said Terry Horman.
Last Tuesday family and friends held a prayer vigil at Joshua's grave. "The investigating officers handling the case didn't even show up. It was open to the public to come. I had a nice article in the paper about it. I'm just floored at how the Sheriff's office has treated me. I'm upset with them and I'm not very happy with them," continued Horman.
The grieving mom is asking anyone with information regarding her son's death to come forward. Horman has also left a message for the killers on You-Tube. Go to Justice 4 Josh.
The Frederick County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the incident.
"My son knew his killers. He looked out the peep hole and he trusted the ones he opened the door for. I know this because he was always careful and always looked out that peep hole before opening the door," said Horman.
"I know they can solve this case. They have DNA and fingerprints that were left on the duct tape," continued Horman. "My son's mouth, nose and lips were duct taped by his assailants," she added. Police said Crawford suffocated.
"I am not going to give up. I will continue to fight until they are brought to justice."
