Complaints coming in to authorities about people selling drugs in Key Parkway and Willowdale Drive area.
Frederick Police arrested a man who was in possession of heroin Monday.
It happened while the department's Drug Enforcement Unit was conducting surveillance in the Key Parkway and Willowdale Drive area.
When officers saw a vehicle enter the Windsor Gardens Apartment complex and leave a short time later, another officer observed the vehicle commit a traffic violation and initiated a stop, authorities said. The passenger in the car, Gavin Waverly Watts, of the 100 block of South Market Street, was charged with possession of heroin and transported to Central Booking, police said.
Surveillance was set up because police say they have been receiving complaints about people selling drugs in that area.
