The U.S. Coast Guard says an unmanned Naval aircraft has crashed on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and there are no injuries.
Petty Officer Jonathan Lindberg said Monday that the Coast Guard is setting up a safety zone around the marshy area along the Nanticoke River where the crash occurred.
Lindberg says the 100-foot unmanned aerial vehicle crashed about 20 miles west of Salisbury.
A spokeswoman for the Patuxent River Naval Air Station’s Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons program says there was an incident involving an aircraft, but she did not have further details.
