He will be put on 3-years release when he gets out.

A West Virginia man has been sentenced to ten years in prison for two counts of possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine. Lawrence Robert Hicks, 42, of Martinsburg, will also be on three-years supervised release when he gets out of prison.

Hicks was sentenced Friday in US District Court in Greenbelt by District Judge Roger W. Titus.

The US Attorney's Office for Maryland says Hicks was arrested in Clarksburg in October 22nd, 2011. Montgomery County Police say he had ten grams of crack in his vehicle.

He was also arrested on September 20th, 2011 in Frederick County, where Maryland State Police also found ten grams of crack in his vehicle.

In his guilty plea, Hicks admitted, since April, 2011, he traveled to Germantown twice a week to purchase crack from a seller named "Kevin," and brought it to Martinsburg, West Virginia to sell.
