Delegate Neil Parrott says the announcement is troubling.
President Obama Friday declared that he will not enforce existing Federal Immigration laws for illegal aliens between
the ages of 16 and 30. He also indicated that his administration would not deport any illegal alien children, implying that he will not deport any of their parents either.
Delegate Neil Parrott, Chairman of MDPetitions.com, indicated that,"President Obama’s actions are both disturbing and troubling. President Obama swore to uphold the US Constitution and the laws of our country. With this decision to not enforce existing U.S. immigration policy, the President is showing us that he has no respect for the U.S. Constitution, U.S. Laws, and the legal citizens of the United States who elect members of Congress and the President."
With reference to this recent decision by the President, Delegate Pat McDonough (410-238-0025), talked about Section 106 aiding and abetting laws and referred to existing work laws where no one can work is this country without a lawful presence. He indicated that, "This administration is completely lawless and makes Richard Nixon look like a boy scout."
MDPetitions.com just won a court case to allow Marylanders to be able to vote on Maryland’s bill that would provide college tuition subsidies for illegal aliens. As a result, Marylanders will be able to vote on the bill this coming November.
Delegate Parrott indicated that, "In the November election, Marylanders will have the unique opportunity to indicate two things: Whether they want their hard-earned money to pay for college for illegal aliens, and also whether we want to enforce existing federal immigration law. With Obama’s decision Friday, Maryland’s decision in November will become even more important."
