Maryland State Police are reporting a 23-year-old Baltimore woman was killed Friday afternoon in a crash on eastbound Route near Greenbrier State Park in Washington County.
Police say Tiara Elliott was pronounced dead at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown after she was thrown from a Honda Civic that had been struck by an SUV near the Frederick County line. Elliott was one of two passengers in the car.
The driver, Cheron Leighton was also thrown from the Civic and was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with serious injuries. Another passenger, Troy Roberson, was taken to Meritus Medical Center with serious injuries.
Elliott and Leighton were not wearing seat belts.
