Police say the teen approached the counter, passed a note to an employee and demanded money.
A 17 year old boy was arrested by Frederick Police for trying to rob a local fast-food restaurant.
According to a press release, the teen was arrested on Tuesday in the first block of South Market Street.
The robbery attempt happened around 10:30 p.m. on June 28th at the McDonald's on S. Jefferson Street. Police say the teen approached the counter, passed a note to an employee and demanded money. The employee acted confused. The suspect then became agitated, grabbed the note and left with no money.
