They were seen entering an apartment through a window.
Two people were arrested Friday afternoon on drug charges.
Frederick Police responded to an apartment at Baker Place West for a burglary in progress. Witnesses told officers that they saw a man and woman entering the unit through a window.
Authorities learned that the woman identified as Lauren Bianca McEuen, 23, lived at the residence with her grandmother and the man identified as James Edward Steagle, 23, was McEuen's boyfriend. Police say Steagle was not authorized to be there, and was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
As officers cleared the apartment, they found suspected narcotics and paraphernalia in McEuen's bedroom.
Both McEuen and Steagle were taken into custody without incident. Steagle was served with the outstanding warrant.
