The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two men in connection with an attempted armed robbery early Saturday at the Motel 6 on Massey Blvd. in Hagerstown.
Police say a man entered the motel lobby shortly before 1 a.m., displayed a handgun and demanded money from an employee. No money was given to the suspect and the employee retreated to a safe location. The man left the lobby and fled the area with another man.
Police say both suspects are black males. The one who entered the lobby is about 6'2 and 180 pounds. He was wearing dark-colored pants, a jacket, a hooded sweat shirt, white sneakers and a dark-colored stocking cap.
The second suspect is about 5'10 and 200 pounds. He was wearing jeans, black shoes and a heavy coat.
