32 bags of heroin were confiscated.
One person has been charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of non-CDS and possession of paraphernalia. Wayne Lyles was identified by Frederick Police Drug Enforcement officers as a suspect who was selling heroin, and he arrested last week (Jan. 26th) during a traffic stop.
A police canine called to the scene did a sniff of the vehicle, and indicated the presence of heroin. A search netted 32 bags of heroin with an approximate street value of $640. Police say Lyles also had prescription drugs in his possession for which he did not have a prescription.
He was taken to the Adult Detention Center.
