One person was treated at Meritus Medical Center after he was shot Tuesday afternoon.

At around 3:29 PM, Hagerstown Police were dispatched to North Mulberry Street and Cannon Avenue to investigate reports of shots fired. They found a victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told officers that they heard three gunshots and found the victim lying on the ground. They also saw a suspect flee the area.  He's described as an African-American male, six-feet tall, thin build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Authorities say a cash reward is being offered for anyone who has information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
