Parent-Teacher Conference dates.
Today is the last day to take the survey about fall Parent-Teacher Conference dates for the coming 2012-2013 school year.
Parents and or guardians are being asked to select your preference from the 7 options in the poll: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ptcpoll . Frederick County Public Schools will tabulate responses and share them with the Board for discussion and decision at the February 22 BOE meeting (not February 8, as previously reported).
The Board of Education has identified Monday, August 27, 2012, as the first student day in the 2012-2013 school year.
The last day for students next year is June 18, 2013, which includes a 5-day cushion for snow or other emergency closings. If all 5 days are not needed, the school year will be shortened by the number of unused days to provide 180 days for students.
