He was charged following a traffic stop.
A Rockville man was arrested in Middletown Tuesday on drug charges. Steven A. Kraft, 26, was apprehended following a traffic stop on Lombardy Drive off of Main Street. The Frederick County Sheriff's Office says Kraft is charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Authorities say Kraft was pulled over for driving through a red light. The arresting deputy, Corporal Gary Cline, says Kraft was unable to produce a driver's license and registration, but inside the vehicle smelled like marijuana. After a search of the vehicle, the license was found, along with suspected pot.
Kraft was taken to the Adult Detention Center for processing. The contraband was seized and placed on property with the Sheriff's Office.
