Man Taken To Shock Trauma Following Work Related Accident

He is in serious condition.

A Union Bridge man is in serious condition following a work related accident.

Deputies with the Carroll County Sheriff's Office responded to Lehigh Portland Cement Company, shortly after 2:00 p.m., and discovered that 46 year old Steve Fleming was repairing monitoring equipment, underneath a conveyer belt, located in the yard, when a skid loader backed over top of him.

He was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. 

Sheriff's investigators, along with the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Administration are examining the events.
